Love Songs: Stuck On You

Today's Love Song is another trip down memory lane for me.

It was the summer of 1984, I was 150 miles from home working a summer job between semesters at college. He was a handsome cowboy type.  And I fell head over heels in lust. Oh yes, this was going to be a summer to remember.

Lionel Richie's 2nd solo album "Can't Slow Down" had just been released. The song "Stuck on You" displays a country pop influence rather than R&B, and it marks Lionel Richie's country music debut.
