Thank You

It’s Monday! That means it’s time for Monday’s Music Moves Me! This week our theme is in honor of Thanksgiving.  I’ve put together 5 Thankful songs for you to enjoy.

It’s a short week due to the holiday, so I’m keeping this post short as well :)
In today's playlist you will hear tunes from the following:

Good Charlotte
Boyz II Men
ABBA
Led Zeppelin
Dido

What are some of the things you are thankful for this year? Tell me about it in the comments. Be sure to stop by on Wednesday for the Battle of the Bands Results!

Today’s post is part of the Monday’s Music Moves Me blog hop, hosted by X-Mas Dolly, and co-hosted by JAmerican Spice, Stacy Uncorked and Curious as a Cathy.  Be sure to stop by the hosts and visit the other participants.

  1. If I'm still here then I'm thankful. And if I weren't then I think I'd still be thankful. I might not always say it, but I'm usually a pretty appreciative sort of guy.

    1. I tend to agree with you, Lee. Grateful to be alive and well. Things might not always go the way I want them to, but the alternative is not as great as what I've got. Thanks for stopping by today!

    1. I was really surprised at the selection of songs. I could have had a playlist a mile long, but I know we're all busy this time of year. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Mary,

I'm thankful for friends like you! ;) I'm thankful for good health, my best friend & husband, my children (even when there's conflict), my loving parents, my sweet FIL, my sister & brother, my nieces & nephews, all my cherished childhood friends, the many wonderful friends I've gathered over the years, living in America, the basics of life a warm home, food, and clothing but most of all I'm thankful for the gift of eternal life through Jesus. Thanks for sharing your "Thank You" playlist. Good Charlotte and Boyz II Men's songs are new-to-me which was a pleasant, fun discovery! Have a joyful, blessed Thanksgiving, my dear!

  7. Way ta go girlfriend! I must be living under that rock again because I'm gonna thank you again for the introduction to your tune! I'm thankful for so many things & my family is at the top of my list and I thank the Lord for my husband every night when I say my prayers. He's my soulmate & I just wish I could've met him before I met my first husband. What a huge mistake that was, but Dave is my heart and my life and I am his! It's a wonderful feeling. Thank you for asking, but I have soooooooooooo many things to be thankful for & another biggy is putting together Monday's Music Moves Me & the friends I have made doing it. All great people. Have a great Thanksgiving to you & yours and we at 4M are thankful for a member such as you! You're the reason that makes 4M great, fun and a party once you arrive! BIG HUGS... Ooops I almost forgot thought I'd let you know that your name came up in picking a Spotlight Dancer, but it's not until January. I believe it's the third January of the month, but I'll let you know again in an email in January. So you have plenty of time to think about a theme for January! WOO HOO!!! HAPPY TURKEY DAY!

I'm going to go ahead and email you with a few ideas. I'm moving in less than a month, and you know how crazy that can be! I'd rather give you the info now, than be pressed for time later :)

  9. Thank you for these. I'm thankful for having had great parents, that my father is still doing well now that he's a widower, and for my husband's great taste in music. ~grin~ He's listening to my past Amazon purchases as I type. Happy Thanksgiving!
