5 Favorite Patriotic Rock Songs

Tomorrow is the 4th of July, a day that the United States celebrates it’s independence from England, and I thought I would do something a little bit different today to celebrate it here.

Today, I'm sharing with you my top 5 Favorite Patriotic Rock Songs.

These songs are not listed in any particular order. With this being a holiday weekend in the USA, I am keeping the post short so you can enjoy your time with your friends and families celebrating. And if you aren’t from the USA, I hope that you enjoy the music for what it is, and perhaps in the comments you can tell me your favorite patriotic rock song from your country.

America - Simon & Garfunkel

American Woman - Lenny Kravitz

R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A. - John Cougar Mellencamp

Rockin' In the Free World - Neil Young

Star Spangled Banner - Metallica

Do you have a Favorite Patriotic Rock Song?

Obviously, I've only barely tapped the well of patriotic rock and roll songs. Which odes to the land of purple mountain majesties did I leave out, and which are your favorites?

What does tomorrow bring?

Tune in to find out!
