#A2ZChallenge Theme Reveal

Can you believe it?!

April is literally right around the corner.

Do you know what that means?

That’s right! I means it’s time to reveal my theme for the annual A to Z Blogging Challenge!

This will be the fifth year that this blog has participated in the event.

I had recently posted a poll on the Facebook fan page, here in the blog, and also on my personal Facebook page asking for input as to what my theme should be this year.

I tossed about ideas such as:

A2Z of Dave Grohl

A2Z of Classic Rock
A2Z Earworms  (and I also learned during this poll that some of you don’t know what an earworm is!) Earworms are simply songs that get stuck in your head

Are you ready to find out what I have finally settled on?

Okay!

Here we go…

I’ve decided my theme this year will be ... Random Music.

I’ll be choosing a word for each letter of the alphabet and sharing one or two songs with that word in the Song Title.

I’m going to encourage you every day to share additional songs in the comments that also have the chosen word in the Song Title.

But wait... There's MORE!

I will also be hosting a Giveaway during the challenge.  You'll have to wait until the challenge begins for the details of the giveaway - but I personally think it's pretty cool!

Are you up for it?  I sure hope so!

I’m off to go write and schedule some posts so I can concentrate on commenting and responding to comments during the challenge.

Be sure to subscribe so that you don't miss out on any of the posts. One benefit of subscribing - even though some days will have more than one post - you will only receive ONE email with links to the posts for this blog. Emails are sent out Monday through Friday at 5am Eastern time.

Subscribing is easy. If you are on a mobile device, click on the drop down and select 'Subscribe' then fill out the form. If you are on a desktop, there is a tab directly under the header on the left hand side. OR you can simply Click Here.  I've put subscription forms for both blogs on one page to make it easier for you.

Be sure to check out my latest posts - they need some love!

  2. Random works for me as I often tend to be rather random myself. But I"m sure you've noticed that.

    Have a great April!

I really gave it a lot of thought. I think random works best for me this year, as I don't want to tire of one specific theme.

      See you around the 'sphere.

The beauty of doing Random is there is a good chance you'll hear some earworms!

    >>...Well, I'm taking my balls and going home!...

Hey wait a minute! Aren't you already at home? Isn't that where you typically respond from?

I'm sure I'll see you around these parts. I know you can't stay away that long =)

      Oh, no! Not at all!

I don't even own a computer. I do all of my work from bars, on laptops and tablets borrowed from bartenders who like me. And, let's face it, the bartender who don't like me ain't been borned yet.

That's a much better scenario from what I pictured in my head previously. (You DON'T want to know!)

Say 'ello to Norm for me!

  7. Mary,

Oh, mewsic that's groovy with me! Listening is a great break with most post consist of a lot of reading which can fry the brain. It really doesn't take too much to short mine out mine. I like multi-tasking such as now. I'm listening to your BoTB song choices while I read about your theme and now as I comment. So, I can't wait to catch your daily random mewsic shares. Have a pAwesome week. My Theme Reveal is now up! ;)

    1. Hi Cathy!

It's those little breaks that make it all worthwhile. I'm going to try to keep my playlists a bit shorter for the challenge, though, so everyone will have a chance to visit everyone else.

Let me know you stopped by and let me know what you liked about the post, or what you didn't like. If you're a blogger, be sure to include a link to your blog, so that I can easily reciprocate.
