We have a new guest musical conductor for this month! Please welcome Cathy from Curious as a Cathy! Cathy gets to choose our themes this month. Cathy states this about today’s theme: “for National Coloring Day song titles/lyrics about art in general – get creative or use your high school colors to build your theme around.”

  3. Mary,

I knew Eddie Murphy sang a bit. "Party All the Time" hit #2 on the Billboard charts but I had no clue he actually recorded an album. After browsing iTunes I noticed two albums and a few singles. Who knew, right?

I enjoyed your playlist you built for this week's theme. Thanks for sharing and joining the party, darlin'! Have a boogietastic week!

  4. Oh my gosh, Color my World what a great song & I haven't heard it in forever and Cindy Lauper such a great song for her... True Colors so pretty too. Wow, Eddie Murphy? One of few, right? I never heard this one. I really can't tell which is his voice... I had no idea his voice was so high. Billy Ocean don't think I ever heard his song... now Dolly Pardon oh yeah, I've been becoming a bigger fan of hers lately. This tune I finally heard the story of it wow, it really is so sweet. Bobby Darin was a hit in his day, but was of my brother's era. Venessa Williams Color my Wind is fab & really will live on for a long time, and the rest of the tunes are fab... but time to move on. Have a great day!

  5. Many colorful memories here. Billy Ocean - that video was pretty - so hard to believe this song is over 30 years old now! Vanessa Williams' selection was so easy to listen to and, of the songs I didn't know, was my favorite.
