#4M: G.R.A.T.E.F.U.L.

Our guest musical conductor this month is Robin from Songbird’s Crazy World! Robin gets to choose our themes this month. For today’s theme, Robin states In honor of Thanksgiving, songs that spell out the word “grateful”.

I know I’ve got a lot to be grateful for this year. It’s no small miracle that I am on this side of the ground today. I want to thank each of you for all of your kind words, thoughts and prayers as I have gone through all of this medical BS.  And yes, Cancer does truly SUCK!  But I am so very thankful to be alive today.

We should see some pretty interesting choices in the group today :)

Well, alrighty then… Let’s get to it!

  1. Mary,

I'm thankful you're still fighting to beat Cancer in the behind. You're inspiring is all I can say! I hope if I find myself ever in your shoes that I'd be a champion like you. ;) Saying prayers for you always, dear friend.

I'm heading out the door for my procedure but I'll be back later to listen to your marvelous playlist. Thanks for hitting the dance floor today. Have a blessed Thanksgiving, Sweetie!

  4. Your first tune is new to me, but I liked it, and of course I love Steely Dan. Those CD's are our vacation music we play in the car until we get to our destination. Love, love, love Eric Clapton. Always did, always will, J.J. Kale I never heard of. Never saw this one either. Loved it. Tangled up in you sorry I never heard that one before, but I heard 18 with Alice Cooper. Feel like making love & Up on Cripple Creek hubby played tunes in his band many times & Let your love go cool tune. You've rocked the house girlfriend and may I say have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Here at 4M we're thankful for friends like you! Have a great day!

  6. I knew almost all these songs, and almost all of them are songs I haven't heard in forever. Alice Cooper and Bread were my favorites from today - and wishing you all the best and a wonderful Thanksgiving.
