#Roadtrip: Chicago, Part 2
Time to hit the road!
The premise behind this theme is to pick a location, and highlight some or all of the musical artists (not inclusive) that are associated with that location. The locations will not be limited to the continental United States. We’re going Everywhere!
This is week two of a two-week visit to Chicago. We’ve managed to dodge bullets and fill up on deep-dish pizza. We’ve had more than our share of Hot Dogs and Italian Beef Sandwiches. It’s time to have our last concert for this trip. We will definitely be back again soon!

I’m trying to keep the playlists to 5 tunes each, so if you know of an artist associated with the location that was not featured, be sure to mention them in the comments. There’s always a good chance we’ll be re-visiting locations. I’m also open to suggestions for locations. In the meantime, I’m just meandering around the continent.

Mary, did you ever meet Peter Cetera of Chicago in Sun Valley? I think I mentioned it earlier, but I played softball against him there. Great athlete, great sense of humor, great guy. A lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I ever did meet him, either that or I just wasnt paying attention. I recall you mentioning him once or twice. One time, I was having lunch with a friend at a pizza place in Ketchum (not Louie's) and Mariel Hemmingway came in with Jamie Lee Curtis and sat in a booth across from me. I was curious to see what they ordered - it was just a regular ole pizza.
