A Prelude to April, pt 2

This month, Marie gets to choose our themes.

Today is the second of our Free Choice weeks for this month. I think I’ll go ahead and give some more musical clues to my theme for the April A to Z Challenge.

Today’s Playlist

  1. 18 and Life by Skid Row

  2. 1999 by Prince

  3. 867-5309/Jenny by Tommy Tutone

  4. ‘65 Love Affair by Paul Davis

  5. 99 Luftballons by Nena

I may have already spilled the beans last week in one of my other posts, so if you haven’t guessed what my theme will be by now… I’ll just go ahead and tell ya.

Drum roll please….

I’ve chosen my theme for the April A to Z Challenge to be Totally Awesome 80’s! Be sure to tune in for a month long love affair with the 80’s music scene.

Today’s post is part of the Monday’s Music Moves Me blog hop, hosted by X-Mas Dolly, and co-hosted by Stacy Uncorked, Curious as a Cathy. , and Ramblin with AM. Be sure to stop by the hosts and visit the other participants.  If you have a MUSIC* post, feel free to join in the fun! *sorry non-music posts are not permitted in this blog hop.

  1. Mary,

The only thing I can think of is artists/bands with number song titles? I missed the post where you spilled the beans, so I'm still in the dark. This is a great music set "65 Love Affair" was a great tune to chair boogie to this morning. It's been while since I've heard it. :) Have a boogietastic week, my dear!

  2. Great playlist! Now I am trying to remember, did Nena have any other hits? Good luck on the A to Z challenge!

  3. Great songs and yes the 80's were great in their music. I am so glad that I grew in that era.

  4. Oh yes, the 80's! I so love music of the 80's although I already was in my 30's. This was a wonderful playlist, and I'll be dropping in during A to Z for certain.
