It always warms my heart when you notice the little intricacies of my posts. They're like little hidden easter eggs that you always seem to find :)

I'm surprised you hadn't heard of Floggin' Molly. They've been around since the 90's. And while they are an Irish-American Punk Band (aka Celtic Punk) I still confuse their name with Molly Hatchet (Southern Hard Rock).

October will be here much sooner than you know. Better start getting prepared for Christmas and 2019 A to Z. I've got my theme picked out - just need to get the posts written and scheduled - and knowing me, that will happen most likely March 30. LOL

Hard to believe it'll be September next week.

~Mary Mary Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05875539859330322822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8221369581989798825.post-65478518843969408922018-08-29T15:22:28.434-04:002018-08-29T15:22:28.434-04:00You have a fun list here Mary! It's a good song!

The Psychosticks video was crazy! Reminded me of some drunken frat boys screaming about beer. Remember those days? I never was into frat boys. They were idiots. At least at YSU they were. :)

And that Sailor group: they were fun to watch! Never heard of them but I got a real kick out of the video, especially the piano guy (I laughed out loud at the :47 or :48 mark!) haha

And Drunken Lullabies: that sure was some good fiddle-playin' goin' on there! Never heard of Floggin' Molly. That's some name!

I used Ray Charles version of One Mint Julep. I really like the one you used by Louis Prima. That's probably my favorite song on your whole playlist.

This was such a fun theme Mary. You have been an excellent Conductor! Thanks for the great good times. Both posts I did were some of my personal favorites and that just goes to show you what fun I had putting them together. I am kicking myself for not including "Mas Tequila". But the height of this post was the Scottish Drinking Song, first, for a recording from 1912, and second for listening to him sing the Gaelic lyrics. And the fact that the song is a childhood memory of yours. So enjoyable. I did too! My folks played him all the time when I was a wee lad. Mom says I learned to put Roger Miller records on the record player and play them when I was only 3. I've passed that on to my kids. We have an RV that has a cassette player, and on our trips, the kids always ask for "the road songs", led off by, of course, "King of the Road". A couple of summers ago we went to the East Coast, and must have heard Golden Hits 100 times. Great times thanks to a brilliant, wickedly funny and sly singer and songwriter
.Arnold Stonebrinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01379331466516288628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8221369581989798825.post-85107260309985115922018-08-27T23:15:27.536-04:002018-08-27T23:15:27.536-04:00Stephen darlin'
