Will there be hair-pulling? Will there be nail scratching?

What there will be is mud. Lots and lots of mud in a mud pit, and Stephen will make it three in the pit.

This next part is just between us, Mary. So don't go spillin' the beans. (Can I count on you to be discreet? Yeah, yeah, sure I can!)...

My #1 favorite singer of all time - counting BOTH males & females - is my girlfriend, Karen Carpenter. She's the best!

Although my wife, Brenda, isn't my #1 favorite singer of all time (because there can be only one #1), Brenda is way, Way, WAY up high on my 'Favorite Singers' list.

And although it's a rare occurrence, every once in a great while, someone comes along who sings a song a certain way and I prefer it to my girlfriend's rendition (although I *NEVER* tell HER that!) This has only happened a few times, and this happens to be one of the few.

Yeah, I may have the heart of an adulterer, but when push comes to shove (Calm down, ladies!), I have to stand by my wife.

I axed my Brother, Judge Al Bondigas (another huge fan of my girlfriend's singing), which version he preferred, and to his own surprise, be brought his gavel down in a rulin' for my wife, Brenda Lee.

So, MMQE, please chalk up TWO MORE VOTES FOR MY WIFE.

Also, I want to say that growing up in L.A., I was blessed to get to see lots & lots of big-name musical artists in concert. I saw Waylon Jennings (4 times), Van Morrison (3 or 4 times), Thin Lizzy (3 times), Blue Oyster Cult (twice), Bob Seger, UFO, The Police, The Babys, Taj Mahal, The Cars, Rick Derringer, Styx, Journey, and the list goes on and on.

But the COOLEST thing I ever saw at a concert was in 1991(?), when my wife, Brenda Lee, walked down from the stage followed by a roadie with a Polaroid Instamatic camera. She started walking through the audience, posing with fans while the roadie took pictures and handed the still-developing photos to the fans. WHO DOES THAT?! It was such a beautiful thing to see how much my wife appreciated her fans that she'd go out of her way to mingle with them in the theatre and give them photos of her posing with them! Now that's a great artist and a down-to-earth person. (I suspect that Brenda may have cheated on me over the years, but I forgive her.)

Lastly... as for that Beer In The Shower bloke, I don't even know what he's talking about! First of all, my middle initial, "T", stands for Toad because, like the famous Mr. Toad, I've always lived my life going from one mania to another mania.

I fear the Beer Bloke has been tarrying long at the wine and his eyes are beholding strange women.

~ D-FensDogG
(Unjustly slandered & innocent as a newborn
babe found on the front porch of an oiphanage!)Stephen T. I will need to return here later to do that.

But right NOW, I need to go explain some things to a couple of ladies I know, and hopefully they have understanding hearts. (You have put me in a tough spot here, Mary!)

Also, I need to go and Google a couple of mysterious terms (Mambo #5 doctrine & Suzy Boggus' Aces) because maybe there's a way out of this predicament sans a rope, a knife, or a shotgun.

~ D-FensDogG (in the doghouse)Stephen T. Besides, how do we know Stephen hasn’t followed the Mambo #5 doctrine and included Suzy Boggus’ Aces in his game? Okay. I’m having too much fun ;-)diedre Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12772557495518846226noreply@blogger.com
