About Me

Hi! I'm Mary and I am a cancer survivor and doing my best to live life to the fullest. One of the things that I enjoy in life is music. My personal blog is about music, artists, and the stories behind them. I love all genres of music, and am having a great time learning about the different artists and their music. Won't you come on this adventure with me?

I've recently expanded the blog to include books, humor and a general feel good post.

I don't profess to be extremely knowledgeable about music, I just know that I truly enjoy music. When it comes to sharing facts and back stories, Google is my friend 😉 But I promise you won't be disappointed with the posts, as I do try to keep them entertaining.  It surprises many that I have such a wide variety in taste in music, but as I like to describe it, "I'm female. I have many moods. Each mood has a genre that I can relate to. If I were to stay within one specific genre, I wouldn't be able to properly express myself."

You can find me on Twitter and Facebook and Instagram and of course, right here at my blog Jingle Jangle Jungle

I was born in Montana, raised in Idaho, spent a minute living in Utah, spent the past 20 years living in Oregon, but have recently moved to Colorado and then back to Idaho. I've had many different types of jobs, from customer service to hospital computer operator to medical insurance analyst. In May of 2014, I found myself in the hospital recovering from a mild heart attack. When I returned to work following that incident, I learned I was losing my job (it was being outsourced to India). In December of 2014, I learned I had uterine cancer.  I had a complete hysterectomy, where they were able to remove all of the cancer.  Thankfully, it was in the very early stages.

In my spare time, (who am I kidding - I don't have any spare time. I devote my life to this blog!)

Now I have a small favor to ask of you. Because I have found myself on extremely limited income and resources, if you would be so kind to take a look at my wish list and perhaps send me something? When I left Oregon - I left with only 2 boxes and 2 suitcases. I find myself starting over and needed help.  If you think of something I should have on my list and you don't see it - send me an email at and I will add it to the list for you.  Or, if you prefer, I do accept gift cards. Please know that I am not trying to be greedy. I just need a little help.
