Weekly Song Challenge #15/Totally Awesome 80's - L #AtoZChallenge
Welcome back to the Totally Awesome 80’s!
A time when our clothes were bright and vivid (nobody had to tell us to NOT eat the laundry soap!). A time before cell phones, and it was the very beginning of a time of personal computers. We had some unforgettable tunes, and that is what we’re focusing on today!
So, grab your big plastic earrings, put on your acid washed jeans, and let’s dance!

On Wednesdays, I present a Weekly Song Challenge. I’m going to just include that challenge in this post to make it easier on everyone. The linky below is for those joining in the Song Challenge for this week. Also, your responses don’t need to be limited to the 80s. I stayed with the 80s theme - just because :) Click Here for more information
A Song with ‘Lady’ in the title: Lady (You Bring Me Up) - Commodores
A Song with ‘Love’ in the title: I Love Rock ‘n Roll - Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
A Song with ‘Luck’ or ‘Lucky’ in the title: Lucky Star - Madonna
Come back tomorrow to see what ‘M’ songs are reppin’ the 80s!
Good morning, Mary! I was transported to the 80s listening to your A2Z playlist while reading other A2Zers posts that didn't require my ears to enjoy. I managed to pull together a WildWednesays post which include today's WSC and Wednesday Hodgepodge which I added to your linky party. ;) I just made the connection that Lionel Ritchie and then the Commodores both had "Lady" song titles. Why did I not remember that? Great music all the way around here this morning!
ReplyDeleteI have another Looney Tunes A-Z Art Sketch to share with you, check it out my illustration I named, Lunch. Happy A2Zing!
Boy does Madonna look so young and pretty...WTF did she do to herself now. I love that song from Sly Fox and danced to that and many others you have posted here. Kenny Rogers looks so healthy then and before all the botox and surgeries. I like you playlist for this week's prompts too. a fun listen!
ReplyDeleteLove all these songs but "Lady" is my favorite. Did you see when Kenny Rogers and Lionel Richie performed it together? Made me cry!
ReplyDeleteJanet’s Smiles
Let's Dance and Let's Go Crazy are my favorites on this list. Sad to think that both David Bowie and Prince are gone now. Weekends In Maine
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
