MMMM: Movie Songs

Welcome back to Monday’s Music Moves Me

It’s been a minute or two since I’ve played with the MMMM group. Today, I thought I should jump back into the game and get back on track.

Our assigned theme for this week is Movie Songs.  (Note: Apparently this was last week’s theme. I need to relearn to read a calendar! Since this week is a free week, I’ll go ahead and post this today)

I’ve compiled a playlist of 10 songs from movies that I have enjoyed.

  1. Everything I Do (I Do It For You) from Robin Hood: Prince of Theives

  2. How Deep Is Your Love from Saturday Night Fever

  3. Eye of the Tiger from Rocky III

  4. Call Me from American Gigolo

  5. Say You, Say Me from White Nights

  6. It Must Have Been Love from Pretty Woman

  7. Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do) from Arthur

  8. Footloose from Footloose

  9. Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now from Mannequin

  10. Purple Rain from Purple Rain

Have an enjoyable week! I hope to see you all again soon :)

  3. Mary,

I'm glad you felt good enough to join us on the dance floor. I believe I remember you saying either yesterday or last Monday was to be your final treatment. I hope that's now behind you. You're in my prayers.

I love your playlist of movie songs! What a great choice to carry last week's theme forward but you know whatever music moves you is a.ok by me. ;) Have a boogietastic week, Mary! xo

  4. So many songs from which to choose! You have a solid list there. I might just list all the songs from The Greatest Showman--what a great movie with an outstanding soundtrack!

  5. I'm happy to see you here and choosing movie songs. The 80s had quite a few. Glad for the song from Mannaquin.

  6. Unfortunately this is one of the Blogger blogs I've had major troubles in commenting on this week, but I think I found a browser that doesn't give me the problem. For now, anyway. Enjoyed your playlist. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  7. MMQE ~

    I like these two:
Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do) from Arthur
    Footloose from Footloose

I especially like 'Arthur's Theme'. I used to think I could dance to 'Footloose', but that was probably just the whiskey dancing.

Where the helck is 'MOON RIVER' from 'Breakfast At Tiffany's'?! What kind of nonsense are you trying to pull here?!! C'mon, can't you woik with us?

I love comments! Did you know that comments that are less than 8 words long are considered spam? So, don't hold back! Spill yer guts. Let me know you stopped by and let me know what you liked about the post, or what you didn't like. If you are a blogger, be sure to include a link to your blog, so that I can easily reciprocate.
