Time for our final post of the year, and it is also time for #FridayFive. It’s only fitting that we play out the end of this year with some songs to ring in the New Year with.

Continuing on with our Christmas After Party today. Just milking the holiday for all that I can ;)

Are you still in a bit of a Christmas mood? I know that I am!  Today I’m sharing a song with you that I found while doing some other research on the interwebs.

Alan Thicke was most known as a sitcom dad, who was a work from home psychiatrist in the television series ‘Growing Pains’.  He was also known for writing several theme songs for other sitcoms and game shows.  Unfortunately, Alan Thicke died unexpectedly on Dec 13 from a heart attack after playing hockey with his son, Carter.  Alan has two other sons, Brennan and Robin (best known for the song‘ Blurred Lines’)

The Winter Solstice arrives this coming week, so I thought it would be fun to showcase a few songs that have Winter in the titles.

On Dec. 8th of this year, combat fighter pilot, test pilot, astronaut & senator, John Glenn, passed away at age 95.

December is a time for celebrations, family gatherings, holiday meals, parties, and what is almost always in the background during that time is the seasonal Christmas music.
