Jingle Jangle Jungle

Another week has flown by. Every other week a blogger is chosen as the spotlight dancer by the hosts of Mondays Music Moves Me.  The spotlight dancer gets to choose a theme for us to use.  Today our spotlight dancer is Joyce from Catch My Words. Her daughter is celebrating her 25th birthday today.   I’d like to wish her a Very Happy Birthday.  And apologies to Joyce for not following suit with the theme today.

I love a good challenge, don't you? My brain is feeling a bit numb, so now I’m feeling a bit challenged about what I want today’s post to be. In honor of last week’s theme “Songs with Colors in the Title” I posted a little game on my personal Facebook page challenging people to name  a song with a color in the title.

In early December, I was asked to pick a theme for today’s Mondays Music Moves Me. As many of you know, I was in the middle of packing for my move when the request came in.  Not being one to let anyone down, I pulled a theme out of the air without giving it much thought. At the time, I didn’t even know where I was going to be living, let alone if I would have internet access.  I didn’t even look at the calendar to see what the date would be.

It’s been a minute or two since I’ve posted a ‘When Music Collides’ segment.  Today, I’m putting a different spin on the theory of music collision.

I'm baaaack!  Sure, it’s only been two weeks, but it feels like forever since I’ve last posted. While many of you were off celebrating the holidays, I was frantically moving across states. And then the wait…. That awful wait until internet could be connected at the new place. Sometimes I think that was the hardest part of the move. But I am now connected and I feel my lifeline being restored. Just as we have a New Year coming in, I feel like I have a new life beginning.
