Christian Kane

Image
I discovered this little nugget the other day when I was preparing birthday shout outs for our facebook fan page . You may know him from his television roles - Jake Stone in The Librarians , Lindsey MacDonald in Angel , Eliot Spencer in Leverage , Abe Wheeler in Into The West , or as JT Maxwell in King & Maxwell . Or you may know him from his various movie roles in Good Day For It , Love Song, Hide , or The Donner Party , just to name a few. But did you know that Christian Kane is also the lead singer of a country-southern rock band?

Welcome to "The Guest" Jingle Jangle Jungle’s Guest Blogger Series Week 15 Each and every Sunday, you will find a new Guest here. I have booked some really AWESOME bloggers (and non-bloggers as well), from all over the internet, and I just can’t wait for you to “meet” them all. Thank you for stopping by today to join us for this week’s "The Guest". Today's Guest is: Lisa O'Driscoll of Fun Money Mom Hi! I'm a former Kindergarten teacher turned stay at home mom who loves music, trips to Disney world, shopping, nights out with my hubby or girlfriends and just being a mom to two adorable and funny girls! After quitting my teaching job to move with my family to Florida, I needed a new hobby since I found myself binge watching way too much tv once the girls were asleep (although OITNB is totally worth a binge watch!). Why not start a blog? Never having blogged before, I had NO idea what I was getting myself into but I've found

Hues Corporation: Rock the Boat

Image
It was the mid 1970s and the disco era was just warming up. Today's song choice is just one of many great disco hits from that era. "Rock the Boat" is considered one of the earliest disco songs. Some authorities proclaim it to be the first disco song to hit #1, while others give that distinction to "Love's Theme" by Love Unlimited Orchestra, a chart-topper from earlier in 1974. It is a heavy airplay favorite on oldie and adult-contemporary stations today.

The Battles take place on the 1st and 15th of each month, and the results will be posted on the 7th and 21st.  The other blogs participating in the Battle of the Bands are posting different battles (different songs), So once you’re done voting and commenting on my battle, take a moment to visit the other participants and vote & comment on their battles.  There are some really good battles going on!

Bay City Rollers: Saturday Night

Image
S A T U R D A Y Night! S A T U R D A Y Night! S A T U R D A Y Night! S A T U R D A Y Night! This has to be my all time favorite Bay City Rollers song. The song had just been released in the US, and our elementary school teachers were teaching all the girls in the school a dance routine to the song. I had the coordination of a newborn calf with two left feet. But I still loved that song.
