Sorry about missing last week’s Monday’s Music Moves Me. I’ve just been really busy and was feeling a bit overwhelmed. The weather here has been pretty busy, too! Looks like this year is  going to be a real bumper crop year for snow!  Even places that don’t normally get snow are getting it!

Time again for Song Lyric Sunday!  (okay, truth be told… It’s really mid-day Friday, but I wanted to get my post written and scheduled as it is one less thing to worry about) . Hopefully Jim or anyone else won’t pick this same song, but if they do - all I can say is Great minds think alike!

The conclusion of the second installment of Battle of the Bands for the month of February has arrived. In what could have been a really really bad idea, this particular battle turned out pretty decent.

Welcome to the second installment of Battle of the Bands for the month of February! Today’s battle is going to either turn out pretty good, or turn out really bad. There is no in-between with this one. 

It seems as though I am continually busy all the time lately. Not that it’s a bad thing… As most of you know, I do like to write my posts in advance, so that I don’t fall behind. There are days when I don’t know which end is up. The past three weeks have been full of days such as that. And here I am on Sunday afternoon and no post ready for Monday. YIKES! I need to get myself in gear!  And as much as I like the Free Choice weeks - I’m learning I need more structure in my life, as Free Choice weeks are becoming harder and harder for me. Even the more difficult challenges this month seem a bit easier than Free Choice week.

Is it me, or did this week just fly by without even a half pause?  I must be getting old, because I keep losing track of time. I’ll sit down to do a task on the computer, and next thing I know hours have passed me by.

Monday’s Music Moves Me is here again. This time we have the lovely Cathy of Curious as a Cathy as our musical conductor.  Her choice of theme for today is based on National Day Calendar and she has requested that we use the keywords MAIL, SOUP, & VACUUM for our song selections.

Hello February! Time again for the first installment of the month for Battle of the Bands. The song I chose today is a song that I had previously suggested to my good friend Michele at Angels Bark. She’s got a lot going on right now and taking a bit of a hiatus, so with her permission I am going ahead and using the song today.
