Time for Round #7 of Battle of the Bands! I've got another new artist that I'd like to share with you! His bio, in his own words: Born BRAE lon LENI ear, the soul sangin' soul bangin' artist you know as Brae Leni does it for the music lovers. Brae is 23 years of age. He was born & raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. Music has been a lifelong blessing, passion, talent, & job for him. He LOVES music. Danny Shipley

Danny Shipley is a 23 year old Christian Contemporary musician. He does shows in the greater Cleveland area every weekend, and he loves playing music. Danny has been playing guitar for the past 10 years and does not plan on stopping any time soon. He owns a total of 6 guitars and uses them for different styles and influences in music such as Jazz, Rock, Blues, Folk, and Country.

Swirl

Alfred Ramirez- Lead Vocals Duane T. Jones- Guitar Shane Carlson- Bass Brian Jones- Drums Swirl was formed by guitarist Duane “DT” Jones in Washington State. The earliest version of the band scheduled a recording session in Southern California, but due to a scheduling conflict the original drummer was a last minute cancellation. One brief phone call later brother Brian “Bam Bam” Jones was brought in to record drums and became a permanent member of the band. Swirl went on to release their debut CD ‘ Out Of Nowhere ’. The disc was produced by Carlos Cavazo ( RATT/ Quiet Riot ) and Matt Thorr ( Rough Cutt/ Jailhouse ). Swirl toured the United States and Japan in the early 2000’s and achieved moderate success.

Maven Fiction: Can I Keep You?

Maven Fiction is a York based, indie-pop collective. The project started as an outlet for writing and production duo Aaron Ward (guitar/vocals) and Joe Mitchell (piano/synths) late 2011. Having met at primary school in Scarborough North Yorkshire, they parted ways shortly after and it wasn't until they had finished in education, until they rekindled their friendship to begin making music together.

The Stiff Cats are: Richard Amor - guitar Emily Johnstone - Vox Matan Neushtan - Drums Pablo Rojas - Bass Richard and Emily had a band together in England, working with Phil Johnstone, who previously worked with Robert Plant for eight years. Matan and Pablo have been playing in Barcelona together for the last four years and have a distinct bond that makes the rhythm section tighter.

Joe Cocker

After starting out as an unsuccessful pop singer (working under the name Vance Arnold ), Joe Cocker found his niche singing rock and soul in the pubs of England with his superb backing group, the Grease Band . He hit number one in the U.K. in November 1968 with his version of the Beatles' "A Little Help from My Friends." His career really took off after he sang that song at Woodstock in August 1969.

Old Dominion is an American five-member country music band formed in Nashville, Tennessee. Their music is contemporary country with rock instrumentation, and has pop and hip-hop overtones. They released their first self-titled EP in 2014.
