Declan Patrick MacManus is an English singer-songwriter. You may not know him by this name. You most likely know him by his stage name Elvis Costello .  He began his career as part of London's pub rock scene in the early 1970s and later became associated with the first wave of the British punk and new wave movement of the mid-to-late 1970s. His critically acclaimed debut album, My Aim Is True , was recorded in 1977. Shortly after recording his first album he formed the Attractions as his backing band. His second album, This Year's Model , was released in 1978, and was ranked number 11 by Rolling Stone on its list of the best albums from 1967–1987. His third album, Armed Forces , was released in 1979, and features his most successful single " Oliver's Army ". His first three albums all appeared on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Marshall Tucker Band: Can't You See

The Marshall Tucker Band is an American Southern rock/country rock band originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina. The band's blend of rock, rhythm and blues, jazz, country, and gospel helped establish the Southern rock genre in the early 1970s. While the band had reached the height of its commercial success by the end of the decade, the band has recorded and performed continuously under various lineups for nearly 40 years.

Green Day: Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)

Vocalist/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, along bassist Mike Dirnt formed a punk rock band in 1986. They had a drummer, John Kiffmeyer, but he was replaced in 1990 by Tré Cool. The trio called themselves Green Day . In 2012, guitarist Jason White became a full-time member after having performed with the band as a session and touring member since 1999.

Bonnie Tyler - International First Lady of Rock

Bonnie Tyler is a Welsh singer. Her real name is Gaynor Hopkins. She spent seven years performing in pubs and clubs around South Wales before being signed to RCA Records in 1975. Tyler is known for her distinctive husky voice, resulting from an operation to remove vocal nodules in the mid-1970s. Her singing has been compared to Rod Stewart and Kim Carnes, and she has been referred to as the 'International First Lady of Rock' .
