Band on The Verge...

I’m sure by now as the month of April wraps up, that everyone knows that I have a little bit of a love affair with Classic Rock going on.  But I have another confession to make. I sometimes cheat on Classic Rock with another love of mine - All things Dave Grohl.

Time to wrap up the #AtoZChallenge.  I know, I know… for most of you it doesn’t end until Monday, April 30.  Being that I’ve been joining in the fun in an unofficial capacity, I’m taking a few liberties.

April Mid-Month Battle of the Bands

Time for the Mid-Month Battle of the Bands. Today’s battle was inspired by a recent battle posted by Mr Stephen T McCarthy . In his battle, he had placed Nat King Cole up against his daughter, Natalie Cole. The battle got me to thinking about one of the first CDs I purchased many years ago. That CD was Natalie Cole’s “Take a Look”.  One of my favorites on the CD is “Cry Me A River”. I have my good friend, Jill, to thank for that purchase.

Unofficial #AtoZChallenge

It’s time again for the annual A to Z Blogging challenge. I participated the past three years, and each year, I experienced a bit of blogging burnout afterward. April Fool's Battle of the Bands

April Fools! This battle is no joke! I have thought about this battle all month long (maybe even longer). I’ve had some ideas come to mind. Researched them for viability as a decent battle.  I kept coming back to today’s song choice.   Then, early last week, I woke up with a completely different idea.  It was a pretty good one, too - except that by day two of letting the idea marinate, I didn’t care for it as much.
