Monday is here again, and that means it’s time for Monday’s Music Moves Me! We were given the theme of Halloween, and well, you know me - I have to be just a little bit different!

#BOTB Results & Songs about Trucks

Before we get started with today's post, let's go over the Battle of the Bands Results. The battle was a cover of 'Mercury Blues', with the contenders being Canned Heat and Meat Loaf. Their engines were revved up and ready to roll. The bands were shoulder to shoulder in turns one and two.. In turn three, Meat Loaf pulled ahead, but in in turn four Canned Heat had managed to find more fuel in their tank and did their best to catch Meat Loaf.  It was an engaging race, and quite the battle right to the very end.

Time for Monday’s Music Moves Me and also time for our next Battle of the Bands! The theme for today is ‘Songs about Cars or Trucks’.  We had a similar theme back in May of this year, so I knew I needed to come up with something different. Additionally, it is now Rocktober , so I wanted to pick a song that has a bit of pep in it’s step.

Another Monday is upon us, and you know what that means!  That’s right, time for Monday’s Music Moves Me! Today the powers that be for the 4M group have assigned us a theme. They are looking for songs about Autumn.  Well, Rocktober takes precedence for me, and do you know how difficult it is to find rock songs about Autumn?

Welcome to Rocktober! Rocktober 1st marks the date of Jingle Jangle Jungle’s blogiversary. We are celebrating three years of music blogging.  Jingle Jangle Jungle got it’s start with a little bit of inspiration from my nephew . He would celebrate Rocktober each day in October with a musical post on Facebook.  I’ve always enjoyed good, classic rock and wanted a place to showcase various songs and artists as well as their stories.  Of course, I enjoy other genres of music, and this blog is a great way to expand that appreciation.  While I am not blogging every day this month, I do plan on my posts this month to center around the appreciation of Rock.
