Jingle Jangle Jungle

Last week , Alana , our #MusicMovesMe musical conductor for the month of June, had us all thinking about television and film from our childhood. As usual, the theme turned out to be a really good one. It was really great to see and listen to the various theme songs from the shows from long ago.

Welcome to Monday! Today, Alana,  our musical conductor for the month of June has chosen the theme of TV or Movie themes from our childhood. As a child, my daily after school routine would be to make cinnamon & sugar toast (super easy to make - butter your bread, sprinkle on sugar and cinnamon. place on a cookie sheet and pop it into the oven until nicely toasted)  or open faced grilled cheese in the oven, then settle in front of the television for about an hour or so before hitting books and doing my homework.

Time for the next installment of Battle of the Bands! A Big welcome to the new readers and a hearty welcome back to those of you who are not so new to this blog. Our last battle was for the cats, and as promised, today’s battle is for the dogs.

Last week we talked a little bit about musical crossovers. After visiting all of the other Mondays Music Moves Me blog-hoppers, I realized there were quite a few artists that crossed genres that I had forgotten about. A friend and I were chatting a day or so later, and they asked if anyone had mentioned Chris Gaines.  I don’t recall anyone including Chris Gaines in their posts, so my friend suggested that I include him in today’s post.

Time flies when we’re having fun! We are having fun, aren’t we? I know that I am, and I sure hope that you are. Can you believe we’re into the month of June already? I better get my Christmas decorations out now because at this rate, it’ll be next week! It’s Monday, and you know what that means, right?  Time for Monday’s Music Moves Me!

As a regular participant of Mondays Music Moves Me - I’ve noticed an influx of participants. I’m guessing Cathy over at Curious as a Cathy played a big role in bringing in the new bloghoppers.
