#4M: For The Win

It’s a new month, and we have a new musical conductor. Stacy from Stacy Uncorked gets to choose our themes this month. Today’s theme is Free Choice.

Last week, on my other blog, Literary Gold, I spotlighted a book titled ‘For The Win’ written by Raine Thomas.  The author suggested a playlist to listen to while reading the book. So for today’s Free Choice, I thought I would share that playlist with you.

Book Synopsis:

Determination.

It’s what gets Jasmine Li out of bed every morning. She’s determined to overcome the injury that has derailed her career in ballet, the only love she’s ever known. She can’t afford to allow a baseball player to distract her, no matter how hot and persistent he might be.

Commitment.

Will Campbell defines the word. It’s what makes him a successful pitcher and it’s helping him learn how to be a single dad to a little girl with plenty of trust issues. Just his luck, the one person his daughter—and his heart—finally respond to is a stubborn, sexy ballerina with plans that don’t involve relationships or children.

But Will didn’t become the best closer in the majors by giving up. He knows what he wants and what his daughter needs, and he’s going to get it. Jasmine Li has met her match…and he’s playing for the win.

Please enjoy this week’s playlist:

  1. Beginning to like Rascal Flatts more and more! Your next tune I've been hearing more & more of it lately. It's growing on me for sure! “Beneath Your Beautiful” by Labrinth and Emeli Sandé. Your next tune “Connection” by One Republic & This is Gospel” by Panic! at the Disco is new to me. Nice, but I think it needs to grow on me, but it's definitely cool. “Cool” by the Jonas Brothers is definitely "Cool"! hehe Well, it's getting late so I'll be back tomorrow. Great tunes my friend.

  2. This is quite the ambitious playlist you have here this morning. Rascal Flatts to Bruno Mars! It will certainly be the most diverse offering of the day and a little something for everyone. Nicely done. Have a blessed week.

  3. Mary,

    I enjoyed your playlist this morning. Jonas Brothers are upbeat and fun to listen to at the start of my day. Blake & Gwen are America's sweethearts and they sing together beautifully. I wish they'd keep Gwen on The Voice regularly with Blake. They are a stickin' cute couple! Thanks for joining the 4M dance floor, my dear. Stay safe and be well. {{hugs}}
