Weekly Song Challenge, wk 2

Did you have fun last week with the challenge? Let’s do it again!

How it works:
Each week, I will provide a list of 3 topics or themes.

You come up with 1 song for each of the 3 themes.

Now, I know several of you like to plan ahead, so I’ve got a page prepared where you can find the upcoming themes..

This Week’s Song Challenge:

  1. A Food: Cake By the Ocean by DNCE

  2. An Animal: Beer for My Horses by Toby Keith ft Willie Nelson

  3. A Number: Love Potion #9 by The Clovers

So what say you? Does this sound like a fun game? I hope you’ll join me. Post your links in the comments below, and I look forward to having you join me again next week!

  1. Mary,

DNCE "Cake By the Ocean" is a great dance song. Incidentally, I came close to picking it. I just wish the Joe didn't use curse words in the lyrics. I prefer the cleaner version of the song. It doesn't use the f-word but they left d@mn in.

"Beer For My Horses" video is fun with Toby and Willie as father & son. They do a fine duet, too.

LOL, I can't believe you came up with "Love Potion #9". I came a hair going with it because it was the first song to come to mind. What a great oldie!

Great picks for this week's song challenge. You'll find my participation in today's Wild Wednesdays post! Have a good day, my friend. ;)

    1. Thanks, Cathy!

These were what just popped into my head. The Cute One and I had just watched the movie Love Potion #9 a week or so ago, so it was fresh in my mind.
