Did Someone Say Rock and Roll?

This month, Marie gets to choose our themes.

Today Marie wants us to build a playlist consisting of old rock and roll tunes.

Well, Marie, ‘OLD’ is a relative term, but don’t worry, I got ya covered :)

Today’s Playlist

  1. Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith

  2. Kashmir by Led Zeppelin

  3. Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones

  4. Back in Black by AC/DC

  5. Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo by Rick Derringer

Did you get your tail feathers moving today?

Today’s post is part of the Monday’s Music Moves Me blog hop, hosted by X-Mas Dolly, and co-hosted by Stacy Uncorked, Curious as a Cathy. , and Ramblin with AM. Be sure to stop by the hosts and visit the other participants.  If you have a MUSIC* post, feel free to join in the fun! *sorry non-music posts are not permitted in this blog hop.

  1. Mary,

You're right "oldies" is a relative term. Your collection of oldies are songs I grew up loving, too. Thanks for joining the 4M crew on the dance floor, my dear. Have a boogietastic week!

  2. Very nice playlist. I went back to the early days of rock-n-roll.

  5. That's a great line-up of "old" rock and roll songs. "Kashmir" is one of my favorites in this list so you won me over with that one alone.

  6. Yes, "old" sure is relative but that's what made this theme work. Songs from various eras, and you picked five of my favorites. Especially Rock and Roll Hootchie Koo and Gimme Shelter. My tail feather not only moved, but it got exhausted!
