Can't Get Enough of Your Love Baby (1974)

Time for another round of Throwback Thursday!

This is where we get to listen to some great music from days gone by.

Today’s music comes to us from 1974.  If you were conceived in 1974 or 1975, chances were your parents listened to this tune.

Wikipedia tells us this about today’s tune:

"Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe" is a song written, recorded, and produced by Barry White. Released as the first single from his album Can't Get Enough in 1974, the song topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and R&B charts and has since become one of his signature tunes. It was his second US chart-topper, after "Love's Theme". It became a gold record in the US.

White performed this song live on The Midnight Special in 1974, and on Soul Train on May 24, 1975.

See you again soon! Share with me your thoughts about this theme.  If you have a favorite oldies song or artist, let me know and I’d be happy to feature them.

You can now join in the fun! Just add your Throwback Thursday link to the list below.  Your song choice can be from any era, so long as it is at least 10 years old.

  1. This is the man who many went under the sheets with metaphorically speaking. He had such a silky, sensual voice.
