A Prelude to April, pt 1

This month, Marie gets to choose our themes.

Before I get to far ahead of myself, I figure I should let you know the answer to last week's question. And that would be.... Misty! Ever since hearing that song as a young girl, I've always truly loved it.

Today is our Free Choice day, so I decided to give you a sneak peek at what’s to come in April during the A to Z Challenge.

Today’s Playlist

  1. (I Just) Died In Your Arms by Cutting Crew

  2. (Just Like) Starting Over by John Lennon

  3. (She’s) Sexy + 17 by Stray Cats

  4. (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!) by Beastie Boys

  5. (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes

Can you guess what my theme will be?

Before I close.... I figure I should give the outcome of the recent battle of the bands. Turns out my buddy Dave Grohl took a beating. It was a slam dunk win for Cage the Elephant!

Today’s post is part of the Monday’s Music Moves Me blog hop, hosted by X-Mas Dolly, and co-hosted by Stacy Uncorked, Curious as a Cathy. , and Ramblin with AM. Be sure to stop by the hosts and visit the other participants.  If you have a MUSIC* post, feel free to join in the fun! *sorry non-music posts are not permitted in this blog hop.

  2. Mary,

Let see, is your music theme based on last year's health crisis you faced? Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to listening to some good music when I visit you. ;) Thanks for joining the 4M crew on the dance floor, darlin'! Have a boogietastic week!! xx

  6. What a great playlist. No, I'm not going to guess your theme - what would you be so happy about? I'll wait for further clues. in fact, I've been a bit on the fence about doing A to Z this year - I'm making up my mind for sure tonight. If I join, my reveal post will be tomorrow.
